At 7.30pm on Tuesday 7 February, the 2023 Sapphire Coast Hockey AGM was held at the Grand Hotel in Bega.
With a similar attendance to last year, the meeting continued to build on the association incorporation and governance documentation review. This included the adoption of the updated Association Regulations (by-laws) and Competition Rules.
After 6 Years Steve James has made the difficult decision to step down as President. During this time Steve has completed an enormous amount of work and contributed countless hours to our association and hockey in the Bega Valley. He will definitely be missed in this role, however he will continue to be involved at a management committee level, as well as focusing more on his role of Far South Coast Hockey Association President.
After the AGM, we have current vacancies in the committee. In order to continue planning for and to run the upcoming season, we need to fill these roles.
We have an experienced and established committee, where anyone interested in taking on these roles will be well supported.
